ABOUT

Hello everybody! I'm Aurora Gaglione, an illustrator and comic artist born and based in Italy.
I love narrating through images, telling stories, being able to communicate with my reades and having fun with bright colors!My passion towards the world of comic books braught me to the Scuola Internazionale di Comics di Firenze (International School of Comics in Florence) where I've followed and graduated from a three-year course of comics in 2021.
In 2022 I've earned my accademic diploma from a three-year course in Painting at Accademia di Belle Arti in Firenze (Academy of Fine Arts in Florence), allowing me to deepen my illustration studies.
In July 2024 I've finished my studies in a Master Degree in Illustration at Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze.In these years I had the opportunity to partecipate in the "Vuoti a Rendere" Exhibition (Colle Val d'Elsa), displayed in September 2020.
In 2023 I partecipated in the graphic novel project of "La Bambola di Pietra: il racconto della bimba di Pian d'Albero", published by Libri Liberi in Florence. This pubblication was followed by an exhibition in June 2023.
In June 2024, I've taken part in the exhibition "Pinocchio Riflette" in the Venturino Venturi Museum (Loro Ciuffenna).
I was recently chosen for one of the ten special mentions in "Disegni di Genere", a competition organized by Fondazione Onda.I'm open for work offers and commissions! if you'd like to collaborate with me, you can find my contact information.Hope to see you soon!
