ABOUT
Hello everybody! I'm Aurora Gaglione (Glutenfreewoman on social media), an illustrator and comic artist born and based in Italy.
I love narrating through images, telling stories, taking inpiration from my experiences and visually communicating with colors and various palettes, to express the emotions that the characters that l represent usually feel.My passion towards the world of comic books braught me to the International School of Comics in Florence where I've followed and graduated from a three-year course of comics in 2021.
In 2022 I've earned my Bachelor Degree in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, allowing me to deepen my illustration studies.
In July 2024 I've finished my studies in a Master Degree in Illustration at the same Academy.The same year I started working mainly as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator, participating in contests, such as "Disegni di Genere", organized by Fondazione Onda and Illustration Ladies Milano, and winning the second place in TCBF 2025 International Contest for New Authors!
